Christmas Photo Op / Selfie Stations

We saw online where another library had done a Christmas selfie station, so we tried it here and it was a big hit. We bought two backdrop options, an adjustable phone tripod, and some photo props. The props we bought from Dollar Tree included flashing bulb necklaces, Christmas glasses and ties, an oversized candy cane, headbands, Christmas glasses, and tinsel boas. We also made some photo props with cardstock and dowel rods. It was a big hit--some families came dressed up specifically to take pictures.

We also had a night sky backdrop for our Santa sleigh so kids could take pictures in it that we got a lot of positive feedback from. Both stations also added a fun Christmas atmosphere to the library, even when they weren't being used.
