Virtual Story Time with The Grinch

For the Virtual Story Time with The Grinch, patrons could pick up a Grinch headband craft kit at the library (starting a week before the video premiered) and then watch as the Grinch visited the library for a reading of Dr. Seuss's "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" by one of our children's librarians.

The Grinch costume we purchased from Ali Express. Since the book is long-ish for a read aloud, we did some scenes of the Grinch taking down candy canes, stealing Who Hash, pulling off ornaments and lights, and stealing logs from our makeshift fireplace to intersperse in the video. It turned out pretty cute.

The Grinch Headband craft was a free template from Simple Everyday Mom. I used the library Cricut to cut the pieces out and packaged them together for at-home assembly.
