Learn the basics of wilderness survival with this workshop presented by a professional hunting guide, and put together a survival kit small enough to keep in a glovebox or purse.
We advertised this program for Adults, but had families and children attend. Our presenters did a great job of pivoting and addressing the needs of the whole audience.
Survival kits included water purification tablets, paracord, garbage bag, duct tape, waterproof matches & matchbox striker, birthday candle, cotton balls, safety pins, tiny flashlight, 2 sandwich bags, whistle, and compass. We purchased canvas pouches that could be used to store everything, but also received tall pill bottles donated from a veterinarian clinic that worked very well.
